Ms. McNamara has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Michigan Technological University, and is certified as a Medical Technologist. She also has a Master’s of Public Health degree in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Ms. McNamara has 15 years combined experience in microbiology, epidemiology, infection prevention and research. She is a Project Coordinator for the Infection Prevention in Aging Research group led by Dr. Lona Mody, and oversees study management, including field work and regulatory compliance.
Ms. McNamara is the UM Project Manager for the “AHRQ Safety Program in Long-term Care: HAIs/CAUTI” project.
